Small secluded campground. Quiet the majority of the time. Most of the campsites are relatively close to one another. Zero cell service from t mobile or Verizon while there. Town is close by, with the Black Bear Resort nearby with showers ($2), ice and other small amenities.

Great quiet campground. Would have put 5 stars, but be warned, while there are toilets there is no utility sink and no shower facilities. Plus the nearest city and store is quite a drive away. Otherwise, perfect, with sites right on a river. Local trail has no bridges and multiple river crossings.

It was a beautiful place. Me, my husband and young son went camping over the weekend in July. The camp ground attendant was a very nice gentleman and people were very friendly. It was a great weekend get a way.

Dennis Cove was a nice little campground, there were flush toilets and running water, although no showers at this facility. The camp hosts were often not present, since this was my first time here and I had a reservation from recreation.gov I wasn't sure what the procedure was. It's five miles down the twisty mountain road that brings you to the road that has nearest store for gas and ice(and coffee). There's a few grocery stores not too far away, definitely closer then other campgrounds I've stayed at. Campsites are close but not too close and there are beautiful streams and creeks in the area.

Small group of campsites that let you reserve a space are great! The drive from Hampton on twisting mountain road is fun as long as you don't have to do it too often.
